Jenny grew up in the Northern Virginia/DC Metropolitan Area and has since lived in Blacksburg, VA, Rome, Italy, New York City, and Chicago, IL. She holds a B.A. in both English and Communication from Virginia Tech and a M.A. in Media Studies from The New School. Jenny is interested in the ways media construct culture, illuminate human experience, and exercise power by informing, engaging, and mobilizing publics.  She is an effective communicator with a background in all things media.
